The Cruz Grande is an important starting point for hikes. From here, trails start to the reservoir Chira, to San Bartolomé (Tunte), to the Cruz de Tejeda or to the Pico de las Nieves. There is a bus stop at Cruz Grande, served by bus line 18 (Maspalomas Tejeda), but only every few hours. Information: globalsu.es

A rock breakthrough for the GC-60 was created on the Cruz Grande and various information boards for day tourists were set up. Even if the street itself is not particularly wide, in addition to cars, motorbikes and cyclists, coaches (not just regular buses) occasionally stop here.
