The Belauweiher is one of the very few official green spaces in the Stuttgart-Botnang district. The Belauweiher forms the core of this small green space. It is fed by the Buberlesbach stream, which originates in the extensive forests west of Botnang. After flowing through the Belauweiher green space, the Buberlesbach disappears into an underground channel. East of Botnang, the Buberlesbach reemerges into the daylight and forms one of the headstreams of the Feuerbach stream.
