The almost completely preserved Cistercian monastery complex, which later became an Evangelical Women's Foundation, is once again the home of a women's community. Worth seeing are the Chapel of the Holy Sepulcher and the collegiate church, the abbey with cloister and museum rooms, the baroque lady square, the herb garden and much more. Cultural highlights are the summer concerts, the refreshments, seminars, monastery markets, guided tours or even a visit to the permanent exhibition on the history of the monastery.

The former Cistercian monastery from the end of the 13th century, with the abbey church as the first phase of construction was built from field and bricks. The Holy Sepulcher Chapel was built in 1510-1520 mainly of brick. The medieval monastery of the Holy Grave is located on the road between Pritzwalk and Wittstock. The holy grave, founded in 1287 as a Cistercian nunnery, was converted into a Protestant women's monastery after the Reformation and has also served as an educational institution since 1847.
