The frigate Jylland (German: Jutland) is a historic wooden ship in Ebeltoft (near Aarhus in Denmark) in a dry dock of the museum harbor. At 71 meters long, it is the longest surviving ship of its kind.

Frigate Jylland

With a length of 71 meters, the three-masted barge is the longest surviving wooden ship in the world. It is located in the magical harbor town of Ebeltoft in the museum harbor in a dry dock and is the last ship of the Danish Navy, which was built from oak wood.

You can visit the crew's rooms, the galley and the officers' mess, which are true to the original and get an impression of the life on board. The naval battle of 1864 against the Austrian fleet can be simulated and you can feel how the bottom of the ship shakes under its feet and the guns are cracking. During the holidays there are numerous activities for children, including. a treasure hunt, climb into the rigging and tell stories.

In Karens Brasseri you then have lunch or enjoy cake, ice cream and sandwiches on the sunny terrace with a wonderful view over the bay of Ebeltoft.

Guests will receive reduced admission fees upon presentation of the valid rental agreement at the cash desk.
