With the Wehratal adventure trail, the Black Forest offers hikers and holidaymakers a very special experience. It runs between Todtmoos and Wehr and overcomes a height difference of almost 1,000 meters as it runs downstream.

The Wehratal adventure trail opens up this unique landscape. It leads partly through the wild and romantic Wehra Gorge with its protected forest. It includes more than 30 stations on a route of around 27 km from the source of the Wehra to its mouth in the Upper Rhine. The thematic range extends from biology, geology and ecology to forestry, transport history and tourism to the commercial use of water. Even aspects of popular piety (pilgrimage to Todtmoos and Way of the Cross on the Humbel) and the rich tradition of legends in the Wehratal are presented.
