The Catholic parish church of the Catholic parish of St. John the Baptist, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, stands on the market square in the center of town.

The 66 m high pointed church tower, the highest in the upper Illertal, and the large nave can be seen from afar. The faithful gather in the large church room for worship.

Four altars, beautiful pictures and statues adorn the church. The high altar and the people's altar are in the choir room. On the left is the Pentecost altar and on the right the Christmas altar, both of which were painted by Claudius Schraudolph from Oberstdorf.
The priest used to preach from the beautifully carved pulpit. The large organ is above the gallery. High up on the bell tower, the ringing of the church bells calls to prayer and worship.

In the church interior we find precious works that have survived fire, war and looting.
