A fixed rope, iron fences and a ladder lead up to the Geissalphorn. Despite the fixed rope, the climbing site is not to be underestimated and climbing technically classified in the lower 2nd degree.

The other tip on this page that this is an easy to reach summit is wrong. This summit is not easy to reach at all. Good equipment, shoes, Nordic walking sticks, and especially no fear of heights and/or cliffs are an absolute must. Please only go here when you know what you are doing.

I would also say that the Gaisalphorn is quite demanding. Many steep exposed places where a fall ends fatally.
You can really save yourself such casual one-liners as "easily accessible summit" without further information.
