    Wind along this beautiful path in the company of the Beekhuizerbeek. In every season, this piece of nature has its own unique charm. In summer the area is beautifully green and in autumn you walk through a colorful landscape. Whenever you enter this path, the rippling water, the swaying leaves and idyllic bridges will always make you feel like you're in a fairytale.

        often around twilight you can still see deer here in front of the fence. today there were even 3. one crossed the path about 20 meters in front of me. it remains beautiful even though this is such a well-known area where I walk every day.

          Beekhuizerbeek
          The Beekhuizerbeek was originally a source stream to which sprinkling heads were added later.
          The stream rises in a large, deeply dug-in sprengkop in the wooded area northeast of Velp, near the Beekhuizense Weg. Downstream, near the 'Beekhuizen' pavilion, there is a waterfall followed by a narrow pond. Further on, the water again passes over a waterfall and then feeds the large ornamental pond in Beekhuizen. The height difference of the waterfall was used nearby for the former paper mill on Beekhuizen. Nothing has survived of this mill. The pond has nothing to do with this former mill.
          From here the stream flows along the east side of the built-up area of Velp. Further downstream, at the foot of the Keienberg, there is a white plastered miller's house with wall anchors dating from 1617. This restored house and the mill head with waterfall are the remains of the Papiermolen on the Keienberg.

                  Landgoed Beekhuizen is located on the west side of National Park Veluwezoom, near Velp. You will find hiking trails with stylish bridges, a spiral path to the top of a hill and a beautiful pond with rhododendrons around it.
