This segment is perfect for any mountain biker or gravel bike rider - not too much off-road experience is needed. The whole section is double tracks and does not have any steps in it. Only for sometimes volcanic sand can be hidden under the pine needles, and you need to watch out for that.

Leaving the Pilar refuge you can complete this circular route along a track in optimal conditions and with good views, ideal for gravel bikes and suitable for other specialties.
Fast with 60% negative slope and the rest flat and some positive. On less sunny days the fog will accompany you for much of the route. Enjoy this easy route because you will not find anything like it on the island.
