    Grandiose volcanic crater and viewpoint over the southern tip of La Palma. In the crater is a small drip-water cave. The input and v.a. Getting out of the crater is not easy due to the lava scree.

      In good weather, i.e. no fog, the view from Volcan Martin over the entire southern tip of La Palma is terrific. You can even see Tenerife with Mount Teide as well as La Gomera. When there is fog, you get very funny pictures because the situation is constantly changing.

                  The look into the crater is absolutely worthwhile - not only because of the play of colors of the different rocks. Finally, a word on the topic of hiking equipment: Mandatory due to the many lava/ash fields and differences in altitude!

                    Although the volcano tour only passes the Vulcano Martin, you shouldn't miss the summit. Great views and deep views into the crater guaranteed. Also, after the summit in the lava ash, you could "skip" straight back onto the path.
