Quinta do Pisão is ideal for family walks and cycling for beginners, with specific areas for riding horses, donkeys, goats and sheep. Dogs must be on a leash and cycling is prohibited in some areas. There are alternative cycling and walking routes, avoiding the main roads and connecting to Serra de Sintra and Cascais/Estoril. Hikers can catch buses from Alcabideche to Cascais, Sintra or Estoril.
