Unfortunately, you can only admire the long-renovated property from the outside, but it is still worth seeing.
There is evidence of a manor as early as 1606. From 1703 to 1716, the manor belonged to Georg Friedrich von Hopfgarten, before he sold it to Peter Hohmann, a councilor and merchant from Leipzig, in 1703. But a few years earlier, around 1710 or 1712, the magnificent gatehouse was built according to designs by the architect and master builder David Schatz.
In 2012, a private investor acquired it and moved in after renovations.
