Hřebeny Station, formerly Hartenberg, was built in 1876 with a reception building and a loading siding. A freight shed was not built on the loading siding until 1902, and an additional station siding was put into operation the following year. These expansions were due to the castle brewery located there, with its abundant beer shipments, as well as the lace industry from nearby Gossengrün, now Krajkova.
After the war, on May 16, 1949, the station was downgraded to a stop with a loading area. With the start of the 1964/65 timetable, the stop became a baggage handling stop, and on December 27, 1970, the ticket office was also closed.
Today, only the empty and slowly decaying station building remains as a reminder of the former station complex. It is no longer in use. A lost place.
