Weisenauer Rheinrücke - Mainz/Ginsheim🚴‍
The Weisenauer Bridge is a six-lane motorway bridge on the A 60 between Mainz-Weisenau and Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, crossing the Rhine. It is one of three road bridges over the Rhine connecting Hesse with Mainz in Rhineland-Palatinate. The other two road bridges are the Theodor Heuss Bridge, located downstream, and the Schiersteiner Bridge (A 643), located even further downstream. The next road bridge upstream is the Nibelungen Bridge in Worms, and the next motorway bridge is the Theodor Heuss Bridge (A6) near Frankenthal. The Weisenauer Bridge is the most important bridge from the Rhine-Hesse side into the Frankfurt am Main metropolitan area. Frankfurt Airport, the Commerzbank Arena, and the Frankfurt Trade Fair Center are easily accessible from Mainz via this bridge.

On both sides, there is a combined pedestrian and cycle path across the Rhine between Mainz-Weisenau/Laubenheim and Ginsheim-Gustavsburg.

Although the cycle path is narrow, it is used much less frequently than the south side. Ideal for driving from Ginsheim to Mainz.
