300 years ago, the Rats Waage, a small half-timbered house, offered the farmers from the area the opportunity to weigh their goods and thus sell them at a real price. Angermünde's tourist information is located here today. Here you will find city and area maps, souvenirs and lots of good advice for your stay in the city. The Angermünder market is spacious - an indication of the former extensive and lively trade. It is lined with partly historic half-timbered buildings, partly with commercial buildings from the founding years. An impressive half-timbered town house is an eye-catcher. It is more than 250 years old and - after the renovation - still serves as a residential and commercial building.
