The Potter's Tower (Turnul Olarilor) dates from 1357-1366, when the third ring of fortifications of the city was built. It was built by the local Saxon guild of potters. It is the middle of the three towers on Cetății Street. The Potter's Tower is rectangular at the base, then it recedes to the mezzanine, ending in the upper part in the classical projecting part, supported by consoles with fire mouths between the arches.
