In addition to the raft dock, there is also a wooden observation tower with a view of a stork's nest, a dog bathing area, a huge picnic area and plenty of space for cars (presumably for the raft riders).

There is nothing else here and you can quickly cycle past if you don't know this beautiful place.

An experienced Steverauen guide accompanies you on the raft through the Steveraue Olfen. You will learn something about the formation of the floodplain, its inhabitants and the extraordinary landscape.

120 hectares of nature that is increasingly turning into a pristine floodplain landscape. Storks, kingfishers, wild geese, sand martins, herons and numerous small animals and insects are its inhabitants.

Visitors find their way to the Steveraue, which has interesting flora and fauna, historical buildings and also modern, extraordinary architectural botany to offer every day and in every season.

Private raft trips with participants of up to 15 people can be booked or bookings for one of the public trips on the Stever.
