In the middle of the forest, in the middle of the great outdoors, far from the villages, there is an altar cut into sandstone, finely crafted, shimmering green with lichen and moss! The scenery has something mystical about it, like something out of a movie. On this path between Mařeničky and Kunratice there used to be a large sandstone rock called "Dreihäuserstein", which was transformed into a beautiful relief of the Holy Trinity by the local carpenter Franz Schier around 1740. The upper part of the 4 x 3.5 m altar shows the Holy Trinity surrounded by angels' heads, underneath a canopy with a royal crown the Porta coeli is depicted, in the opening of which stands the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus as Queen of Heaven. (Sandstone was later quarried here, but the altar was protected and left as a narrow front. It was restored in 1904 and 1930). Source: luzicke-hory.cz/mista/index.php?pg=zmtridd
