The old pumping station in Keitum on Sylt has been open to the public again since 2018 and offers insights into the bird world and the history of the bird observatory on the dike. In addition to public toilets and information about the pumping station and Nössekoog on the ground floor, the upper floor houses an exhibition entitled “A guest at the bird keeper”. This presents interesting information about the bird world and the long-standing history of the bird observatory. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
