If I remember it correctly, the Rantum Basin was created as a start and land place for seaplanes. Nice tour all around.

NSG before Rantum, a bike path developed as a gravel path runs between the Rantumer basin and the Rantumer Watt on a narrow dike. Is good and passable without special skills. Great view of the Watt, the Ratumer salt marshes, basin landscape.

Nice round around the Rantum basin. However, we had the misfortune that part of the path was rehabilitated and we had to bypass this piece via a street. Diversion recommendation nil. It's good that there are satnavs.
