In Guzzano there is the Pieve di S. Pietro, which seems to date back to the 10th century. However, the ancient church was destroyed and rebuilt many times, some of which were in slightly different positions than the original. The last modification dates back to the 19th century and was the work of a Bolognese architect.

From Guzzano there are marked paths and routes to get to the Castrola bridge and Castel di Casio. I tried to take the route which at the moment I do not recommend because the path is not delineated and full of nettles and shrubs that reach up to belly height. If you do this route, bring your scythe with you too 😂😂😂
