In 1913 the stone was found lying on the ground near its original location and overgrown with grass. The Schwarzenberg branch of the Ore Mountains brought the stone to Schwarzenberg, where it was initially kept in the quarry, today's natural stage at the Rockelmann. The stone was later re-erected and the missing headpiece added.
