This route runs through one of the best preserved areas
from the coast of the island. In this stretch, of remarkable richness
geology, we will have the opportunity to discover different
natural places where a great biodiversity is concentrated.
Among the variety of vegetation that we will find in
along the way, the socarrells stand out for their peculiarity. These
endemic shrubs are characterized by their adaptation to the
Harsh environmental conditions, caused by strong wind
north in the area.
On the beaches of Tirant, Cavallería and Binimel·là we can
observe dune systems, which host important
plant communities. For its part, in addition, this section
has great ornithological interest, because in this area
they inhabit most of the reproductive species of the island.
A short distance from this route we can visit, in the small
fishing port of Sanitja, the interesting site
archaeological site of the Roman city of Sanicera. another destination
nearby that we cannot miss is the Cavalleria lighthouse.
From the spectacular cliffs of its surroundings
we will have a privileged view of the sea.
This section stands out for the virgin beach of Cavalleria. His
sandbank of reddish tones is presented to us in the form of
shell, and is delimited by rocky hills. In
its surroundings we can discover small beaches, such as
Mica cove.
