Grenen is the tip of North Jutland, where the two seas, the Skagerrak and the Kattegat,
meet, and where you can stand with one foot in each. It's a fascinating experience to stand at the very tip of Jutland and the European mainland and watch the waves of the two seas merge and break over Skagen's reef.

Grenen is not only the most visited place in North Jutland by people, but also
by over 110,000 ships weighing over 150 tons. However, swimming here is strictly forbidden
at Grenen, as it is very dangerous due to the very strong currents.

Also enjoy the area's seals, which have become completely habituated to tourists
and can often be found resting on the beach amidst the crowds or on the bunkers in the water.
The landscape around Grenen has been designated a nature reserve open to the public
and offers wonderful outdoor opportunities. The large beach area at the far end of Grenen, outside the dunes, is constantly changing its appearance.
