The tower is walled and the lighthouse had a height of 18 meters at the beginning.
Until 1927, the lighthouse had a fixed lens, kerosene burners, and blinds to create lightning.
During a modernization in 1947, the tower was raised by 2 meters, the operation was converted into electricity and the third-level shutters were added.
The lighthouse has a focus height of 27 meters and the symbols: Oc WRG 5s.
The old service house can now be booked for stays as Lejrskolen Fyret.
