Very nice, rustic restaurant in Coburg's old town. Located next to Ehrenburg Castle, the façade alone is an eye-catcher. And appearances are not deceptive. The kitchen is excellent.

Very 🧡 and extremely nice service (in my case it was the great boss) 👌🏽 very attentive, she often came by and asked if everything was ok. Not to mention the food ☝🏼 best goose breast in Coburg.

In 1581 the house bore the name of the Beck Bakery. A descendant developed the inn into a location that was particularly popular with the artists of the neighboring court theater. Regular guests were also the theater painters Max and Gotthold Brückner, who decorated the hallway with two wall paintings with romantic depictions of the Loreley. As a result, the inn was called Loreley from about 1860.
