The Mönchwinkel rest area on the Müggelspree is the perfect place to take a break and unwind. The course is situated on the banks of the river and offers stunning views of the countryside. Here you can simply put your feet up, let yourself be surrounded by nature and listen to the sounds of the animals. It's like a little piece of paradise in the middle of nature. Especially in summer, the square is a popular meeting place for people who want to spend a relaxing day by the water. You can also have your picnic here or just have a coffee and enjoy the view. The Mönchwinkel rest area is an absolute must for anyone looking for nature, relaxation and a good mood. Unfortunately, that's why it's always overcrowded.

A nice rest area with several benches directly at a Spreebogen is located on the large village street in Mönchwinkel. In both directions you have a great view of and over the Spree.

A bivouac with the possibility to legally stay overnight and hang up a hammock. Fireplace, toilet no water, electricity. Particularly recommended for cyclists. Amazingly few mosquitos (August)
