Flanders is course and course is Flanders. And the cradle? It is located in Roeselare. Odiel Defraeye was the first Belgian to win the Tour in 1912 and world champions from Roeselare – think of Benoni Beheyt, Patrick Sercu, Jean-Pierre Monseré, Freddy Maertens – are plentiful. You immediately understand why KOERS. Museum of Cycling in Roeselare.

Since September 2018, KOERS has been more than just a museum. It has an integrated tourist reception with a cycling shop and an extensive documentation center for researchers. With lockers, electric charging points and shower rooms, it is the ideal base for recreational and sporty cyclists. In the newly landscaped museum garden, which connects to the cycling junction network, you will find the cycling café that has been appropriately named 'KOERSkaffee'.
