The Chimmispitz can be reached from Alp Maton in a technically easy ascent in just 5 minutes and the views are great! A worthwhile goal.

On the Chimmispitz/Chemmispitz you can enjoy wonderful views. It is the northernmost peak in the north ridge of the Calanda; formerly called Kaminspitz.
The quickest way to get to the Chimmispitz from St. Margrethenberg Furggels is to follow the short ski lift to the ridge of the long ridge, which leads slightly uphill southwards to the Chimmispitz, with the path over the Grot almost being the bigger highlight than the summit itself. Enjoy beautiful all-round views one here, but be careful, this is rather an unknown and lonely route, which is why it is not always groomed! (WT2)
