Splendid urban park in Pisa, historic. Along the banks of the Arno river there are paths for walking or running, lots of greenery, very old trees, monuments and areas equipped for resting or playing for children.

Mature trees provide shade throughout the grounds. We run and walk in the shade.

The park is easily reachable on foot from many districts of the city, including the peripheral Riglione and Oratorio, thanks to the cycle-pedestrian bridge inaugurated in 2023.

At the east end of the park and in the middle, there is an equipped gymnastic area.

Great for running, walking, yoga, exercises.

Along the whole park, on one side, runs a small road with little traffic. So it is possible to come here also by car.

It is the urban green lung of Pisa, where you go to run, walk, meditate and cool off in the summer. In ancient times these banks bathed in the Arno (hence the name "Piagge" or "beaches").
