    Is a graceful building in French-Gothic style. The church owes its name to the fact that it contained a thorn (spina) from Christ's crown of thorns, which the Pisans had brought from the Holy Land.

          Santa Maria della Spina is a Pisan Gothic style church located in Pisa on the left bank of the Arno.
