Here you will find a secluded, well maintained park with a small body of water.

Perfect for a picnic or a deserved lunch break. The spa park also offers a small outdoor training area at the side of the clinic, a natural spring and relaxing walks.

The Papenmühle (Papen Mill) stands on the Papenteich lake. The building itself was never a mill. Built in 1875, it served as a hotel and restaurant from 1905, later a hospital, and now a residential building.

The building fits perfectly into the overall ensemble and is a real eye-catcher.

The entire pond and mill seem so peaceful. Simply beautiful.

The Papenteich used to be used by the mill as a mill pond to damming up the water and driving it. The classicist building directly on the pond, known as the "Papenmühle", was never a mill, but was built next to the mill on the Papenteich, which had existed since the 15th century.
