The regatta course Allermöhe on the Dove-Elbe is an artificially created rowing and canoeing course about ten kilometers southeast of downtown Hamburg and can be reached by car or S-Bahn in about 15 minutes from the main station. It was opened in 1985 with a length of two kilometers on the disused branch of the Elbe and has since served as the venue for numerous regattas.
The facility is assigned to the Olympic base in Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein and, as a state performance center, is a central location for rowing and canoeing performance sports in northern Germany.
