In the lower-lying areas of the nature reserve with a larger pond and numerous small bodies of water adorned with pond and water lilies, the reeds determine the vegetation. It takes up over a third of the protected area and is the largest of all characteristic plant populations.

a quiet and winding path leads through the middle of the nature reserve "Die Reit". Trees stand in swampy water. Very idyllic.
