The Breitenburger Canal runs in Schleswig-Holstein near Münsterdorf and Lägerdorf. It is 10.2 km long, 3 meters deep and 10 to 12 meters wide. In parts it is also known as the Breitenburger Moorkanal, Lägerdorfer Moorkanal or Breitenburger Schiffahrtskanal, the older eastern part was formerly known as the Torfkanal[1].
