The Via dell'Acqua is an easy and pleasant path that, following the course of the Leogra river, from Valli del Pasubio goes up to Contrada Bariola di Sant'Antonio: the leitmotif is obviously water and the numerous testimonies of how the natives have learned to exploit it over the centuries. The first part is especially worthwhile, up to the irrigation ditch after Contrà Seghetta, while in the second there is a bit too much asphalt.

The Leogra rises in Val Canale, on the Vicenza side of the Pasubio massif, forming the valley of the same name until it descends to the plain and flows into the Bacchiglione. Precipitation, snow and the confluence of numerous lateral streams have made this valley always abundant with water: hence the ingenuity of man to live with it and exploit its energy: bridges, locks, irrigation ditches, an ancient sawmill with a large hydraulic wheel, the ruins of a hammer mill in an abandoned district, a 19th century hydroelectric power plant and the current bottling company.

Along the entire route you can look up at the Sengio Alto massif on one side of the valley and the Pasubio massif on the other, accompanied by the relaxing sound of water.
