This playground is now part of the approximately 20,000 square meter former railway area that the city of Oschersleben is completely redesigning together with its Bewos Wobau GmbH.
For this purpose, this area, which used to house the Oschersleben marshalling yard, was acquired by Deutsche Bahn in 2013.
Since then, concepts have been developed and project implementation began in March 2020.
