The highlight was originally marked incorrectly. The idyllic section through the green valley of the Platanakia stream begins about 1 km south of the ascent at 700m. This is actually an unnecessary ordeal: 400 meters of ascent on a wide gravel road, mostly exposed to the south, which leads through a treeless wasteland to the "wind farm" above Melissia, and then another 200 m descent into the green valley. Better to get on this one from Berpathiana and then walk back down to enjoy it twice over. The correct marking is here: komoot.de/highlight/5327593
