Brewery Lamot has been closed since 1994.
The brewery history of this location goes back to 1627 with the De Croon brewery.
From 1970 Lamot was part of the Belgian branch of the Bass Charrington group. In 1981, Lamot was acquired by Piedbœuf Brewery, later Interbrew, later InBev and from 2008 Anheuser-Busch InBev. From 1994 brewing stopped at the Mechelen location.
