The park surrounding the castle was converted into an amusement park in the 1960s. As a target group especially families with smaller children are addressed. There are many classic children's play equipment such as climbing frames, swings and slides.

At larger attractions u. a. a family roller coaster, a water wave slide, a ferris wheel and various carousels (one is also suitable for people in wheelchairs) and since 2012 a pedagogical treetop path. The lake can be navigated by pedal boats or rowboats.

The castle itself is largely to visit. In most rooms dioramas are shown with mechanically moving stuffed animals. The cellar of the castle is designed as a horror cellar and offers some ghastly animatronics.

The park offered until the 2016/2017 season in addition to various gastronomic offers and barbecue areas, which were removed for fire protection reasons for the season 2017/2018. It is open from March to the end of October. Dogs are allowed.
