Unfortunately, the zoo became sadly famous due to the fire in the monkey house at the turn of 2020. When I visited a month later, the entire entrance area was littered with flowers, cemetery candles and plush monkeys

A small, uncluttered zoo, good for families. The African savannah, the walk-in aviary, the walk-in tropical house and the penguin pool are beautiful. The elephants have too little space and weave.
A new enclosure for great apes is to be built in place of the destroyed monkey house.
