A few meters from the Spitzmeilenhütte there is this bathing pool. A small waterfall massages the back, and the ancient red Verrucano stone serves as a tepidarium, wonderful to relax on the hot stones.

The Spitzmeilenhütte is an alpine hut located at 2,087 meters above sea level in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland, at the foot of the distinctive Spitzmeilen peak. It offers 44 beds in multiple rooms and 8 places in the winter room. The hut is open from mid-June to the end of October and, in winter, from Christmas to Easter, mainly on weekends.

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Tectonic Arena Sardona", it is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking tours in the summer, and for ski touring in the winter.

The location offers a breathtaking view of the Churfirsten and the Spitzmeilen.

To reach it, you can start from the Maschgenkamm mountain station (Flumserberg) in about 2-2.5 hours, or from Tannenboden in 4-5 hours.
