La Horcadina de Covarrobres is a hill located a few hundred meters from the Cable (Upper Station of the Fuente Dé Cable Car) on the pista that from this leads to the Chalet Real and the Hotel-Refugio de Aliva and later to Espinama or Sotres.

Tens of thousands of people go up each year to enjoy the view from the Mirador del Cable. There is no doubt that the view from the Mirador is spectacular over the Liébana valley and over the mountains that border León, such as Pico Coriscao located just in front of the Mirador del Cable.

From the Horcadina de Covarrobres we will enjoy the view of the Puertos de Aliva, which is an extensive and impressive valley of slopes enclosed between the southern walls of Peña Vieja and the Eastern Massif of Picos de Europa that we will see in its entirety.

La Horcadina de Covarrobres is located just 500m from the Cable (upper station of the Fuente De Cable Car), located at the foot of Peña Olvidada and Peña Vieja is the natural passage between the Cable area and Cabaña Veronica and the Aliva area, which dominates from the heights

Given its location, it has fantastic views over the Aliva ports and the Eastern Massif of Picos de Europa.
