The Vega de Urriellu Refuge is one of those places that should be mandatory to visit on our way through Picos. Its surroundings and proximity to Pico Urriellu itself is incredible. Its views, its mountain and climbing atmosphere is something unique.
To reserve a bed, keep in mind that you have to call in advance!

The Vega Urriellu Refuge is a meeting point for mountaineers, climbers and hikers at the foot of the superb west face of Naranjo, with the bewitching fall of Bermeja that seems to defy all dimensions. The refuge is guarded but it is advisable to book, it is a good place to divide the tour into two days without having to transport bivouac equipment because it offers complete services, including meals.

Crazy atmosphere, almost a bit of a festival mood with all the climbers. Have still been able to get hold of a top campsite in a stone circle.
