Without right angles, a single fluid, soft movement, which in Pietro Consagra's intentions should have become a work of Frontal Architecture, a theater open to the territory, a living and habitable sculpture, with curved and continuous floors, which communicated compactness. Consagra started construction of the Gibellina Theater in 1989, more than twenty years after the earthquake that destroyed the Belìce, but the project was never completed and the structure remained unfinished, huge, becoming a solitary symbol, impossible to forget.
