The restored Maas-Romanesque hall church dates from the 22nd century. Pilgrims come here to worship St. Bertilia, one of the three so-called sisters (H. Eutropia in Rijkel and St. Genoveva Zepperen).

The chapel, dedicated to Eucherius of Orléans, was built in the 12th century in Romanesque style. The material used was tuff. In 1880, a very extensive restoration was carried out by Auguste Van Assche. Parts of the original building were mutilated. The original baroque interior was adapted in a neo-Romanesque style. In 1966, the portal and facade were also restored, using grey brick instead of the original tuff. The chapel is a place of pilgrimage in honour of Saint Bertilia, one of the Three Holy Sisters.
