As early as around 650 there is said to have been a chapel dedicated to St. Genoveva in Zepperen. About this time Saint Trudo is said to have met bishop Remaclus in Zepperen, as is described in the Vita Sancti Trudonis from about 775, which mentions such a chapel. Trudo is said to have prayed here, whereupon Remaclus sent him to Metz to follow a priestly study. The tower was built in the 12th century and is in Romanesque style. The current church, built in Demer Gothic style, was built between 1430 and 1509, and restored from 1860-1906. The church was already protected as a monument in 1935. In 1983, the area around the church was also protected as a village view.

As early as 650, there was a place of worship here, dedicated to Saint Genevieve. In addition to a striking tower from the 12th century, the church has special murals from the 16th century.
Open: From Easter to All Saints' Day, daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed after All Saints' Day until Easter. Free admission.
Restaurant and café at the church. Ample parking at the church or Zepperen cemetery.
Start of 2 walks.
