If the main road in the ascent to Mustair is full again, you can dodge and fill up water here. In the descent from the Stelvio Pass please do not take it but let it go ;-)

This alternative route is only useful if you are travelling from north to south - i.e. up the valley. Otherwise, the narrow descent on the cycle path and the climb back to the road are just annoying and cost a lot of time.
