The three-story, three-axis Schirndinger House is the last representative of the gabled houses on the market square. It was built in the 14th century and then rebuilt in the Renaissance style between 1622 and 1626. The Gothic stepped gable with the turrets is structured with narrow wall panels and blind arches. The cross vault in the entrance hall from 1623 is worth seeing. The Gothic courtyard wing has a two-story arcade.

This house, with its high stepped gable and narrow front, is a vivid example of the medieval Gothic houses in Eger. The original form of the house on a plot 8 m wide and 52 m deep dates back to the time of the founding of the market square in the 13th century. The current building dates from the 15th century and is the only purely Gothic patrician house in Eger
