The Gabler House on the Cheb market square is essentially a late Gothic two-storey house. According to the chronogram above the portal, it was rebuilt in the Rococo style in 1773. The window panels above and below the windows are decorated with rich Rococo ornamentation, enriched with allegories of the four seasons. Above the portal there is a relief of the Madonna with the chronogram, and above the central window there is a dove of the Holy Spirit.

The three-story, three-axis Schirndinger House is the last representative of the gabled houses on the market square. It was built in the 14th century and then rebuilt in the Renaissance style between 1622 and 1626. The Gothic stepped gable with the turrets is structured with narrow wall panels and blind arches. The cross vault in the entrance hall from 1623 is worth seeing. The Gothic courtyard wing has a two-story arcade.
